Sustainability Credit Units (UCSVT BMV)

A monetisation unit generated through the application and verification of the Brasil Mata Viva Standard in rural communities, valuating the existing natural resources, measured in carbon
equivalents, as well as biome protection and conservation services provided by farmers who would otherwise exert pressure on habitats located within and surrounding their properties.

The characterisation occurs with the formalization of the Project through an instrument known as a UCSVT BMV Certificate.

The UCSVT BMV Certificate is an instrument derived from the application of the BMV Standard for the certification of actions aimed at environmental, social and economic sustainability. This certification is performed by third-parties audits, such as the UNESP University, International Certifiers – TÜV Rheinland, and public institutions for environmental and social management - IDESA and FDIA.
